ZBX-321 A/D-D/A CONVERTER

The ZBX-321 is a single-wide, iSBX-compatible module featuring 12-bit A/D and D/A converters that operate in both 8 and 12-bit resolution modes. The ZBX-321 provides a user-configurable input conditioning area with +5 volts, GND, +12 volts, and -12 volts available. Separate connectors for the A/D and D/A are provided. Horizontal gain/offset adjustments are located between the A/D and D/A connectors, and are accessible while the unit is mounted in a card cage application.

A/D Features: 16 single-ended, or 8 differential inputs are provided. The host must be alerted to a conversion complete via interrupt.

D/A Features: The ZBX-321 provides 4 channels of D/A which operate in a 8- or 12-bit mode. Quick settling time of less than 8 microseconds coupled with a linearity error of +/- 1/2 least significant bit, and that current-to-voltage converters feature unity gain make this module virtually unique in its class.
