The SBC569 Intelligent Digital controller is complete digital controller with up to four processors.  This 8085A-based single board computer contains sockets for three 8041A/8741A Universal Peripherals Interface chips (UPI-41A).  These devices, which are programmed by the user, may be used to off-load the 8085A processor from time consuming tasks such as pulse counting, event sensing, and parallel or serial digital I/O data formatting with error checking and handshaking.
