ZBX-286AT IBM AT-COMPATIBLE COMPUTER MODULE

The ZBX-286AT is a full IBM/AT computer on a single-wide iSBX/ZBX module. It is a 16-bit, 80286-based, highly integrated, stand-alone computer system designed for high-speed, real-time multitasking and multi-user applications. ZBX-286AT provides many significant features, such as IBM-compatible video, keyboard, floppy disk drive controller, and serial and parallel I/O interfaces. The user benefits from Zendex's design expertise in that all of ZBX-286AT features are packed onto a single printed circuit board. The computer takes full advantage
of highly integrated AT chipset technology, and is designed to operate as a stand-alone unit or as an iSBX/ZBX expansion module to any host that supports the Intel/Multibus iSBX interface.

ZBX-286AT is ideal for applications that require high bandwidth (similar to industrial buses such as Multibus, VME, etc.), and offers an inexpensive graphical interface utilizing the existing MS-DOS software base. It is a low cost, intelligent, front-end or back-end computer to any system that supports the iSBX interface. With additional firmware the ZBX-286AT can be turned into a dedicated intelligent VGA, intelligent parallel, intelligent serial, and/or intelligent floppy controller, thus greatly reducing the host CPU's overhead and the system's overall cost.
